Question Banks are the backbone of Carousel. This article explains the different ways to add them to your Dashboard so that you can use them to create Quizzes, Study Packs and Whiteboard Quizzes.
1. Selecting a Question Bank from the Community
The quickest and easiest way to get started in Carousel is to begin by choosing Question Banks from the Community.
- Go to COMMUNITY at the top of your account
- Search for a Question Bank, using key words or by filtering the different options
- Depending on the Question Bank and your subscription level you will have the option to ADD or MAKE EDITABLE COPY
Top Tips
- Silver users can add, or make editable copies of 3 Community Question Banks.
- Gold users can add Premium Question Banks, and add or make editable copies of Community Question Banks.
- Platinum users can add or make editable copies of any Question Banks and have the option to search for School or MAT specific Question Banks that may have been shared within your organisation.
- If, as a Platinum user, you receive the toast 'Subject not allowed in your Organisation', please ask your account Admin to check that the subject has been activated in the 'Carousel subjects' list in the SUBJECTS tab.
2. Creating your own Question Bank
To create a Question Bank that is tailored to your requirements you can Bank or upload your own.
- Go to your DASHBOARD
- Select CREATE NEW above the MY QUESTION BANKS area
- Upload your prepared spreadsheet
- Select the audience - Private, School, MAT or Global
