Using the Carousel Community (ALL USERS)

The Carousel Community is a library Question Banks created by Carousel, our Partners and generous Carousel users. You'll find resources for all ages and courses - feel free to browse and find a question bank that works for you.

To use a Question Bank to create a Quiz ADD it to your Dashboard:

• Navigate to the COMMUNITY

• Filter Question Banks to refine your search.  You can filter by any combination of:
  • Subject
  • Author
  • Key Stage
  • Exam Board
  • Curriculum
• Order Question Banks by:
  • Alphabetical order (A-Z or Z-A)
  • Number of Questions
  • Number of Times Used
• Browse the questions before you add a Question Bank by clicking VIEW on the desired question bank to see the questions it contains.
• ADD AN EDITABLE COPY creates a PRIVATE version of the Question Bank that you can make changes to, Platinum users can set these to SCHOOL after editing for use by colleagues, but they can't be shared back to the Community.

• The Question Bank TYPE will be displayed in your Dashboard once you have added it.
• PRIVATE Question Banks are available only to you - these may be ones you have created for your own use or an editable copy you have made.
• SCHOOL/MAT Question Banks are for use within your establishment (Platinum users only).
• GLOBAL Question Banks are your Question Banks that you have made available to the entire network of Carousel users.
• COMMUNITY Question Banks are ones created by others which you have added to your Dashboard from the Community tab.
• PREMIUM Question Banks are created and quality assured by Carousel and our Partners (available to add by Gold and Platinum users and to edit by Platinum users only).

• To add a Question Bank that you have created to the Community, select GLOBAL.
• NOTE : When you archive a Question Bank that you have created and set as GLOBAL, it will no longer be shown to users in the Community so no additional users will be able to add it to their Dashboards. However, any user who added the bank prior to you archiving it will retain access to the bank.
