This article explains how to create a FREE TEXT or MULTIPLE CHOICE QUIZ on a class whiteboard or projector, using the WHITEBOARD feature. This feature is available to Gold and Platinum subscribers.
1. Select WHITEBOARD view by selecting it on your Dashboard.
2. Name your Whiteboard Quiz. This title will appear at the top of the page.
3. Select a Question Bank (from those in your Dashboard) and then select a topic or topics from which to pick questions:
- Each line can be used to select a "bucket" of questions from one or more topics. To make it easier to compile, you can have multiple "buckets" of questions together in one Whiteboard Quiz.
- You can select as many questions as you like, and you should be able to see up to 8 questions and answers on the screen at any one time:
4. When you have selected your questions, click SHOW NOW to view the Whiteboard Quiz.
- To make changes, simply click CHANGE SETTINGS to go back to the previous page.
- If the questions you are selecting from your Question Bank are multiple choice and you wish to enable the multiple choice answers, use the toggle at the top of the Whiteboard Quiz to reveal them.
5. Once you are finished with your Whiteboard Quiz, simply click one one of the buttons in the header bar to exit. Please note that you cannot return to a Whiteboard View quiz once you have clicked one of these options and left it:
Tips and Tricks: Whiteboard View quizzes cannot be saved, stored or exported. Once it is gone it is gone! However, you can turn a homework quiz into a Whiteboard quiz, which in essence lets you save Whiteboard quizzes in advance. You can print a whiteboard quiz if you can right-click and choose 'print'.
