For information on uploading your own Question Bank, please find the full guide here.
This guide has details on:
1) editing Private Question Banks
2) editing non-Private Question Banks
3) copying and editing Community and Premium Question Banks.
1. Editing Private Question Banks
If you have uploaded your own Question Bank as a 'Private' Question Bank, you can edit this from within Carousel via ACTIONS column of the My Question Banks Dashboard. Just click on the three dots and select EDIT QUESTIONS.
This will open up your Question Bank in Carousel, and you can click on the pencil icon in the OPTIONS column to edit question/answer text, select to delete a question, or choose to add an image to a question.
You can also click + ADD QUESTION to add new questions to your Question Bank.
Once complete, just click SUBMIT TEXT CHANGES.
2. Editing Community, School or MAT Question Banks
NOTE: You must be the author of a Community, School, or MAT Question Bank in order to edit it.
If you are the author of a Community, School, or MAT Question Bank, you can edit this Question Bank in the same way as you edit a 'Private' Question Bank (see above.) When you click on the three dots in the ACTIONS column, you will be able to select EDIT QUESTIONS.
Non-private Question Banks work on a 'version' basis, meaning that when you make edits and submit them, a new 'version' of that Question Bank is created.
For other teachers who have that Community/School/MAT Question Bank on their dashboard, they will see an UPDATE icon next to the Question Bank once changes have been made by the author. Via the ACTIONS column, you can review the changes, and decide if to update to the latest version, or leave it as it is. Please be aware that editing the name of a Question Bank after it has been published will only edit the name in the Community and will not rename the Question Bank for anyone who has already downloaded it into their Dashboard.
3. Copying and Editing Premium and Community Question Banks
You can make a copy of Community and Premium Question Banks that you like but wish to tailor. Note: Only Platinum users can make editable copies of Premium Question Banks.
When in the Community section, you can click ADD on any Community or Premium Question Bank, and then select MAKE AN EDITABLE COPY.
This creates a copy of that Question Bank as a PRIVATE Question Bank on your My Question Banks dashboard. You can then edit this Question Bank as per the 'Edit Private Question Banks' above.
Once you've made your edits, you can select EDIT DETAILS from the ACTIONS column, so that you can change the name of the Question Bank, and choose if to publish it as a SCHOOL or MAT Question Bank.
NOTE: You cannot share your new copy to back to the Community.
