When you have created a PRIVATE, SCHOOL or MAT Question Bank you can invite other users from within your organisation to collaborate on the Question Bank.

Question Bank Owner

• Create a Question Bank (by upload or making an 'editable copy')

• Click on the ACTIONS menu (3 dots) and select COLLABORATE. 

• A URL will be generated and added to the clipboard on your computer. 

• You can then share this link with the Carousel Platinum subscribers with whom you want to collaborate on the Question Bank.

Tips for the Question Bank Owner:

• The Question Bank won't be saved to the collaborator's Dashboards; as the Question Bank Owner you will need to make the bank available at School or Mat level so that colleagues can add it to their Dashboards and use it to create Quizzes. 
• See which user is editing the Question Bank by clicking on EDIT QUESTIONS in the ACTIONS menu beside the Question Bank in your Dashboard.   
• End another collaborator's editing session and release the Question Bank by clicking UNLOCK in the ACTIONS menu.  Please note this will cause the user that is editing to lose any unsaved work so good communication is key!

Question Bank Collaborators

• To access the Question Bank to edit, please use the link that has been shared with you.
• Only one user can edit the Question Bank at a time; a warning will appear if another user attempts to edit the questions when someone is already doing so. 

• If a user is inactive for a long period in the Question Bank editing interface, they will be asked whether they want to continue editing.  If not confirmed within 60 seconds the session will automatically close, allowing other users to edit the Question Bank. 

• Any changes that are not submitted will be lost when the session times out, so remember to submit at regular intervals as you work!

Tips for the Question Bank Collaborators:

• Save the collaboration link for if you need to access it again to make further edits.
• The Question Bank won't be saved on your Dashboard; ask the Question Bank Owner to make the bank available at School or Mat level so that you can add it to your Dashboard and use it to create Quizzes.
