Downloading Question Banks

This article explains how to download a Question Bank that is on your dashboard, so that changes can be made via a downloaded xlsx file and then re-uploaded as a new, distinct Question Bank. This feature is particularly useful if you have large amounts of new content to add to a Question Bank (the superseded Question Bank can be archived if desired), or if you want to create Quizzes covering content from multiple Question Banks, additional 'Super Question Banks' can be made by downloading and amalgamating the required Question Banks.

You can download a Question Bank using the DOWNLOAD option in the Action menu in 'My Question Banks'. 

There is also a DOWNLOAD button in the EDIT QUESTIONS page of a Question Bank you have created or in the VIEW QUESTIONS page of one that you do not own.

Downloading the Question Bank will create a .xlsx file, populated with the questions, answers and topics, in the format of the original Question Bank, i.e. either Free Choice or Multiple Choice.

PLEASE NOTE:

• You cannot download a Premium Question Bank or a Question Bank copied from a Premium Question Bank.
• Content that you have downloaded, not created, is for your use and that of your organisation.  It must not be re-uploaded into the Community.
• C-Score data will not be transferred to the newly created Question Bank.
