Downloading Question Banks

The option to download a Question Bank exists in Carousel.  This allows Gold and Platinum users to export the Question Bank into a spreadsheet to make significant changes and re-upload it as a new, distinct Question Bank.  This may be useful in MFL for example to make a reverse translation Question Bank.

You can download a Question Bank:

• Using the DOWNLOAD option in the ACTIONS menu in your 'My Question Banks' area. 

• Via the EDIT QUESTIONS page of the Question Bank editor of a Bank that you have created.
• Via the VIEW QUESTIONS page of the Question Bank editor of a Bank that you do not own.

• Downloading the Question Bank will create a .xlsx file, populated with the questions, answers and topics, in the format of the original Question Bank, i.e. either Free Choice or Multiple Choice. 

PLEASE NOTE:

• To add questions, topics or make changes to an existing Bank, using the Question Editor is advisable.
• C-Score data will not be transferred to the newly created Question Bank.
• You cannot download a Premium Question Bank or a Question Bank copied from a Premium Question Bank.
• Content that you have downloaded, not created, is for your use and that of your organisation.  It must not be re-uploaded into the Community.
• The superseded Question Bank can be archived if required.
