It is now quicker and easier to keep your dashboard organised by archiving up to 100 selected quizzes at a time.
Archiving quizzes helps to keep your dashboard tidy, allows your account to function more efficiently, and if you use the Student Homepage (Platinum accounts with SSO only), ensures that past quizzes only appear in the "historic quizzes" area for the students.
Quizzes can be selected by checking the box beside their due date in the "My Quizzes" area. Up to 100 quizzes can be selected for archiving at one time.
The new check box at the top of the column allows you to select up to 100 quizzes simultaneously. Once a selection has been made, the ARCHIVE SELECTED button will be available.
The "bulk checkbox" will select up to the first 100 visible quizzes in your "My Quizzes" area. This means you can use the filtering and search functions to narrow down the quizzes for selection.
- Use the "due date" order function to reverse the date order of the quizzes displayed to make it easier to select quizzes where the due date has been passed.
- Use the class filter (cog icon) to select quizzes assigned to a specific class or year group.
- Use the search function to display quizzes set for certain topics, or that contain specific key words (e.g. "whiteboard" if you use this method to prepare whiteboards in advance).
- Search, order and filter functions can be used cumulatively to refine the list.
- Individual quizzes can be deselected manually if you do not wish to archive them.
You can display your archived quizzes by toggling the "Archived" button at the top of the dashboard.
If a quiz is archived in error, it can be unarchived but this action will need to done individually from the action menu (3 dots) for each quiz. Archiving a quiz will automatically lock it. If you unarchive a quiz and need students to be able to access it, don't forget to unlock it too.
