Submission Statistics (ALL USERS)

Quickly check how many attempts a student has had at a Quiz and the time and date of each submission, all in your Dashboard.

• In your My Quizzes Dashboard click on the  COMPLETED column.

• The Submission Statistics modal will be displayed enabling you to see:
  • The status of each student's Quiz attempt
  • The date and time of the last submission
  • The amount of times the student has taken the Quiz

STATUS EXPLAINED

Before teacher-marking (moderation) is started, students have one of four statuses: 

• NOT STARTED - the student has not yet started the Quiz.
• ANSWERING - the student has started but not yet finished the Quiz.
• MARKING - the student has finished the Quiz and is marking or on the marking summary page.
• SUBMITTED - the student has clicked FINISH after reviewing their last answer.
• After the teacher-marking is started or if the Quiz is locked, students in the 'Answering' or 'Marking' phase will be changed to SUBMITTED.

DATE and TIME EXPLAINED

• If a student submits their Quiz using the FINISH button in the last question of their self assessment marking phase the quiz will be submitted and the date and time will be displayed in the modal.
• If the Quiz attempt is submitted by the Quiz being locked or marked, the date and time that the Quiz locked will be displayed in the modal.
• If a student attempts the Quiz more than once, the latest submission time and date will be displayed.
• While answering or marking a repeat attempt no submission date and time will be shown, even if the Quiz has been submitted previously, however the ATTEMPTS will reflect a subsequent attempt is underway.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS EXPLAINED

• The amount of attempts the student has made is displayed in the last column.
• As soon as the student takes the test the modal will reflect the attempt.

• You can set the amount of attempts available to the students each time you create a Quiz  (in ADVANCED OPTIONS). The Carousel default is 2 attempts but you can set your own default in the QUIZ SETTINGS area of your MY ACCOUNT page.
