This article will take you through the steps involved in setting up your new Carousel Platinum Subscription. Each linked article will contain a link that will return you to this article, which will be your main guide through the set-up process. We recommend that you follow the steps in the order contained in this article.
Please note that if your school has not opted for MIS integration the process will be different and you should click here for a separate guide.
The following video gives a brief outline of the steps you need to follow, but it is important that after you have finished watching it that you read the rest of the guide below.
- Add subjects to a Platinum subscription. How to activate subjects in Carousel Platinum and map them to the subjects in your MIS (e.g. SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor, iSAMS etc.) Please note that the subjects you map affect which users and classes are added in steps 2 and 3 below.
- Add users to a Platinum subscription. How to ensure that the right users from your school have access to Carousel Platinum.
- Reviewing class lists. How to review the lists of students and classes that have been supplied to Carousel by your school’s MIS. These cannot be edited in Carousel, and any changes have to be made in the MIS.
- Share Question Banks across your organisation. How to share Question Banks with other Platinum users in your school.
