Adding subjects to a Platinum subscription (without MIS integration)

This article explains how to add subjects to a Platinum subscription without MIS integration.  To add subjects to a Platinum subscription with MIS integration click here. To manually upload a class list and the associated subject in Carousel Gold click here.

To add subjects to the Carousel Platinum Subscription, you first need to activate them in the 'SUBJECTS' section. Until you’ve added a subject you will not be able to view or select that subject when creating question banks / using the Community etc. 

1. Activate a subject

• Go to the 'SUBJECTS' tab, in ‘MY ACCOUNT’ (accessed via the dropdown menu under your name on the main dashboard page).

• Select the subject from the drop-down menu under the heading ‘CAROUSEL SUBJECT’. 

• Once you have activated a subject, it will become available throughout the product.

NB: IF YOU ARE A PRIMARY SCHOOL, PLEASE ENSURE YOU ACTIVATE 'REGISTRATION' AS A SUBJECT TOO.

2. Delete a subject:

• Click on the meatball menu icon ( ●●●) under `ACTIONS`, and click `DELETE`.

Tips and Tricks:

If you want to include English as a Carousel Subject, don't forget you may also want to activate English Language and English Literature in order to see all the available Question Banks for this subject.
