This article explains how to activate subjects in a Platinum subscription without MIS integration.

Activating a subject
- Navigate to the ADMIN area of your account by selecting MY ACCOUNT from the dropdown menu in the top right corner of your account.
- Select the SUBJECTS tab.
- Under CAROUSEL SUBJECT, choose all subjects from the drop down list that you would like to do any of the following actions for:
- Upload a class
- Upload a Question Bank
- Add a Question Bank from the Community
- Once activated the subject will become available throughout Carousel.
- PRIMARY SCHOOLS: Remember to activate 'Registration' in the subjects list.
Help!
I can't can't find the subject that I need!
Sometimes a Carousel Subject may be called something slightly different to what you may call the subject in school. Check for non-abbreviated versions, or alternate names. The Carousel Subject 'Other' can be used if needed. Please contact help@carousel-learning.com if there is a subject that you would like us to look into adding to the list of options.
I have tried to add a Question Bank from the Community but I get an error!
Once you have started activating subjects, you will not be able to view or select unactivated subjects when using the Community, creating Question Banks or manually adding a class. If the corresponding subject isn't activated when uploading class lists, the upload will fail. The Owner or any Admin can add further subjects at any time to rectify this.
Make sure that you activate all subjects you may be interested in to be able to access the full range of Question Banks. For example, rather than just 'Science', be sure to activate 'Biology', 'Chemistry' and 'Physics' too.
I have activated a subject by mistake!
To delete a subject from the list, click on the ACTIONS menu (3 dots) and select DELETE.
