Carousel Teaching now allows the account Admins to control which courses users have access to, so you can tailor your CPD programme to the needs of your school.
Automatic Course Access
Admin - Automatically enrolled to all resources, self directed courses, booster courses and INSET courses
Users - Automatically enrolled in the following:
- Upcoming full access webinars
- Carousel Teaching Video Library
- Getting Started with Carousel Learning
- Beyond the Basics
Please note: If your subscription was created and users activated their accounts before 29th April 2026, they will have been automatically enrolled in all courses. To limit access to directed courses, please follow the unenrolment instructions here.
Enroling Users on a Course
- Navigate to the Admin area by selecting ‘My account’ in the drop-down menu under your name in the top right corner of your Carousel Teaching account.
- Select the COURSE ACCESS tab.
- Find the course you wish to enrol users on and click MANAGE ENROLMENT.
- Select the users you wish to enrol in the left hand box and press the right-facing arrow to move them to the 'Enrolled user' list.
- Multiple users can be selected and moved at once, and checking the box at the top of the column will select all users.
- Click 'SAVE CHANGES', and 'CONFIRM' in the summary modal when you have completed your selection.
- Users will be able to access the course via their account.
- User progress on the course can be monitored via the USAGE tab which updates every night.
Unenroling Users from a Course
- Navigate to the Course Access tab in the Admin area of your Carousel Teaching account.
- Find the course you wish to unenrol users on and click MANAGE ENROLMENT.
- Select the users you wish to remove in the right hand box and press the left-facing arrow to move them to the 'Not enrolled user' list.
- Multiple users can be selected and moved at once, and checking the box at the top of the column will select all eligible users.
- Click 'SAVE CHANGES', and 'CONFIRM' in the summary modal when you have completed your selection.
- The course will no longer be available to access through the user's account.
- If a user has previously started a course they are unenrolled from, this progress will still be displayed in the USAGE tab. If they are re-enrolled in the future, they will be able to continue with the course from the point at which they left it.
