Restarting your MIS Sync for the New Academic Year

Over the summer we pause the sync between Carousel and your MIS to ensure we have the correct data in each year.

It is now possible to select the date that you want your MIS sync to resume to bring in the data for the new academic year.

The RESUME SYNC button is found in the STUDENT tab of your MIS integrated account.

• Select the date that the new school year starts in your MIS.
• The sync will be triggered to run overnight and the data will be available in your account the following morning.
• If we can already detect your 25/26 data you will be able to see and select a RESUME NOW button to trigger a sync overnight.

Example: If your new school year in the MIS starts on 4th September, please select 4th September as your resumption date.  This means your data will have synced and will be available by the morning of 5th September.

The automatic sync for 25/26 is scheduled to start in the early morning of Monday 1st September.  If you didn't select a specific date this is the default date set.  If Carousel cannot detect the new academic year data on 1st September, the sync will remain paused.
