Carousel syncs with your MIS automatically overnight every night to ensure your Platinum account has the latest data. This article explains how account Admins can request an interim sync to bring in changes sooner.
How to sync your account
To sync your account go to the STUDENTS tab and press SYNC.
The sync may take a few minutes to complete. The date and time of the last sync will show when you refresh your screen.
Wonde picks up data from your MIS and makes it available to Carousel every 3-4 hours so if the changes are not visible following a sync, try again later.
Reasons to sync your account
- If you have made changes in your MIS
- adding a new student or member of staff
- changing class allocations
- If you have made changes in Carousel
- mapping subjects
- If your MIS hasn't synced properly with Wonde (classes have disappeared)
Help!
I can't see the sync button!
If you have recently mapped subjects try refreshing the STUDENTS page. If the sync button is still not visible please contact help@carousel-learning.com
An email address has been changed in the MIS but it hasn't changed in Carousel!
If a member of staff has already been added to the USERS table Carousel will have to work their magic to change it manually. Contact help@carousel-learning.com with the details of the change and we will let you know when to expect the update.
