N.B. This method can also be used to prepare Whiteboard Quizzes in advance, by creating the quiz and either then assigning it to the Demo Class or to the relevant class you teach.
Regular quizzes can become Whiteboard quizzes and be shown to your class. This is how you do it:
In the 'My Quizzes' section of your Dashboard, click on ‘WHITEBOARD’ in the "meatballs" menu (●●●) under ‘ACTIONS’ beside the quiz you want to turn on in Whiteboard mode:
The quiz will open in the set-up page for Whiteboard mode, where you can make further edits if you need to.
The questions automatically shown are those that were selected for the Homework Quiz. If you don't want to include all the Homework Quiz questions in the Whiteboard, you can simply deselect them from the list.
If you want to include in the Whiteboard Quiz questions other than those that were in the Homework Quiz, then clear the filter to see all the questions in the Question Bank.
When you’re finished editing (or if you don't need to make any edits), just click on ‘SHOW NOW’.
The quiz will be shown as a Whiteboard quiz:
Platinum users
If you would like your Whiteboard Quiz to contribute to your class's C-Scores ensure that the 'Show score slider' is toggled to green.
The proportion of students answering correctly can be reflected by dragging the slider along as the quiz is marked. The scores are automatically submitted to the C-Score calculations.
Only the questions that have been assigned a score using the slider will be used in the C-Score calculations. If a score is not entered, or the slider is cancelled, it will not contribute to the C-Scores this time.
TOP TIP: If you assign quizzes you're preparing in advance to use as Whiteboard Quizzes only to the DEMO CLASS, you won't add any unanswered quiz data into the SCORES Analysis for your classes.
