Questions Banks - Private, Global, School and MAT status

This article describes the different types of Question Banks available in Carousel. For instructions on how to upload a Question Bank click here.

When you create a Question Bank, you have the option to mark it as PRIVATE, GLOBAL or, if you are a Carousel Platinum user, SCHOOL or MAT:  

PRIVATE QUESTION BANKS

When you designate a Question Bank as PRIVATE it means it is only accessible only to you, and only you will be able to set quizzes from it.

GLOBAL QUESTION BANKS

When you designate a Question Bank as GLOBAL it means the bank will be added to the Carousel Community and available for all Carousel users to access and add to their own Teacher Dashboards. 

 SCHOOL QUESTION BANKS

If you are a Carousel Platinum user and designate a Question Bank as SCHOOL, the bank will be shared with other users in your department or school who are also part of the Carousel Platinum subscription.

MAT QUESTION BANKS

If you are a Carousel Platinum user and designate a Question Bank as MAT, the bank will be shared with other academies in your Trust which also have a Carousel Platinum subscription.

QUESTION BANKS ON YOUR DASHBOARD

You can add Questions Banks created by other Carousel users via the Community tab. When you do so, they will show up on your Dashboard in the 'My Question Banks' tab as ‘COMMUNITY’:

If you are a Platinum user and add School Question Banks, they will show up as ‘SCHOOL’:
