Submission Statistics

Quickly and easily see submission statistics for Quizzes in the dashboard.

In your Quizzes dashboard click on the  COMPLETED column.

The Submission Statistics modal will be displayed enabling you to see:

1. The status of each student's Quiz attempt

2. The date and time of the last submission

3. The amount of times the student has taken the Quiz

STATUS

• Before marking is started, students have one of four statuses: 

NOT STARTED - student has not yet started the quiz

ANSWERING - students has started but not yet finished the quiz

MARKING - student has finished the quiz and is marking or on the marking summary page

SUBMITTED - student has clicked SUBMIT on the marking summary page to complete the quiz

• After the marking is started or if the Quiz is locked, students in the 'Answering' phase will be changed to SUBMITTED.

DATE and TIME

• If a student submits their Quiz using the SUBMIT button on the summary page, the date and time will be displayed in the modal.
• If the Quiz attempt is submitted by the Quiz being locked or marked, the date and time that the Quiz locked will be displayed in the modal.
• If a student attempts the Quiz more than once, the latest submission time and date will be displayed.
• While answering or marking a repeat attempt no submission date and time will be shown, even if the Quiz has been submitted previously.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS

• The amount of attempts the student has made is displayed in the last column.
• As soon as the student takes the test the modal will reflect the attempt.
• You can set the amount of attempts available to the students each time you create a Quiz  (in ADVANCED OPTIONS) The Carousel default is 2 attempts but you can set your own default in the QUIZ SETTINGS area of MY ACCOUNT.

TOP TIPS

• Use the refresh button to ensure you are seeing the most up to date statistics.

• If your Analysis pages and Submission Statistics modal are showing different numbers, this article will explain why.
